Hello Blogger world this is my first blog site and I'm quite excited. I'm not sure exactly what the nature of this site will be but I guess we'll find out! Mostly this will just be a place where I'd like to discuss my ideas and listen to feedback. I'm an undergraduate student working on my AA degree and I aspire to obtain a PhD in Philosophy. I'm rather interested in politics and the fragile social attempts at democracy. I'm also interested in ethics and leading an ethical life.
I like to discuss the forbidden subjects and I hope that people understand that when I discuss for instance, government or religion, that I do not necessarily assume that my decisions are absolute truths. The reason I discuss these ideas or argue one side is to hear the opposition. I approach debate the same way some would approach sports. You fight hard for your team until you lose then you shake hands and smile.
I'm looking forward to this new endeavour.
